We are hiring on behalf of our prestigious client, a global leader in defence technology, for a. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge mission planning products, supporting both UK and international customers in a highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities - Functional UK V&V Lead

Take charge of the UK programme for the functional systems engineering team, ensuring certification deliverables are met under challenging conditions.
Oversee the certification process for the UK MRAD programme, ensuring the team delivers on time and meets required standards.
Ensure continued support and capability enhancements for the Land Ceptor product across multiple customers.
Lead and manage a growing team of systems engineers, ensuring efficiency and effective communication within the team.
Adapt your approach to meet new challenges and complexities, assessing evidence from various sources to ensure the best solutions.
Clearly communicate vision and objectives to engage and influence stakeholders, ensuring the team's success in meeting deadlines and deliverables.
Qualifications & Requirements - Functional UK V&V Lead

Experience with systems engineering processes, particularly managing teams to deliver Certificates of Design.
Proficiency in DOORS, requirements management processes, and ability to effectively manage system requirements.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to organize and manage a small team to meet project timelines and goals.
Comfortable with evaluating complex scenarios and applying solutions to drive the project forward.
Ability to clearly convey vision and influence others across various teams and stakeholders.
