Hybrid (Reading-based, 2 days per week)

A major UK organisation is seeking a qualified Treasury Controller to lead treasury accounting and reporting within a high-profile finance team. This role offers exposure to one of the largest corporate portfolios in the UK.

As Treasury Controller, you’ll be the key accounting specialist within Treasury, reporting directly to the Group Treasurer. You’ll lead a small team and collaborate closely with Financial Reporting, Tax, and external auditors to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. This role offers exposure to complex financial instruments and strategic decision-making at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead treasury accounting and reporting for complex financial instruments Ensure IFRS compliance and accurate disclosures Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Collaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams Produce Board-level reports and judgement papers

Ideal Candidate:

ACCA/ACA qualified with strong treasury and financial reporting experience Skilled in Excel and systems like SAP/HFM Detail-oriented, hands-on, and collaborative Strong communicator and team leader

Salary and benefits package on offer will vary depending on experience. Base Salary £80,000-£90,000, 25% bonus, 25 days holiday, competitive pension, PMI and hybrid working – 2 days in office.
