Driver Hire (Torbay) are looking for a Transport office assistant to support our client in Newton Abbot. This is at first a 6 month cover period, however, for the right candidate this could become permanent. You will need to have knowledge of Driver working time regulations for this role.


Salary


£16.75 (PAYE Standard) – £18.77 per hour (PAYE ADV)


Working days to be confirmed.


Key Responsibilities


Supporting Transport manager with day to day with office admin




Keep up to date with drivers working hours




Carry out daily admin duties




Maintain communication with depot and operations staff regarding drivers hours




Follow health, safety, and compliance procedures at all times


Qualifications


Essential

Good knowledge of drivers working time directive



Access to own transport for travel to depot



Organisational skills
