A highly successful, industry-leading, and growing hydraulics engineering company is seeking two Trainee Applications Engineers to join its dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for practical, technically minded individuals to develop into fully qualified Applications Engineers through structured training and development, both internally and externally.

The Role

The successful candidates will be supported in their journey to becoming industry specialists, gaining hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of engineering applications. This role combines technical problem-solving with customer engagement, making it ideal for those with a passion for engineering and building strong relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical advice and application support to customers.

  • Analysing customer needs to deliver tailored engineering solutions.

  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Participating in comprehensive training programmes to develop industry-specific expertise.

    Candidate Profile

    The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a degree in an engineering discipline, such as Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, or Agricultural Engineering.

  • Have a minimum of one year of post-study work experience in an engineering role.

  • Demonstrate a keen interest in customer-facing roles and problem-solving.

  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Be motivated to learn and advance within a fast-paced and innovative environment.
