We are seeking skilled, time-served Toolroom Machinists with experience producing components to tight tolerances in Aerospace or similar manufacturing environments.

We have vacancies covering Milling, Turning and Grinding

Working Pattern: Mon-Thu: 07:30-16:00 Fri: 07:30-12:30

Responsibilities

• Set and Operate manual Mills and/or Lathes to produce one-off, and small batch, precision components.
  
  
• Manufacture aerospace, medical and tooling components to customer specifications.
  
  
• Troubleshoot faults, identify quality issues and provide remedial actions to rectify.
  
  
• Carry out self-inspection of components produced.
  
  
• Identify, suggest and implement process improvements
  
  
• Read and interpret technical drawings for production
  
  
• Complete route and batch paperwork relating to components
  
  Requirements
  
  
• Proven experience setting and operating manual mills and/or lathes.
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  
  
• Experience working with tight tolerances and measurements
