We are looking to recruit a Through Life Cycle Analyst tasked with informing the business with the insights to reconcile engineering constraints and business requirements.

Responsibilities

Interpret queries from across the business in order to define appropriate analyses and mathematical models to uncover the answersPerform, or oversee in sub-contractors, these analyses using a range of techniquesDraw and communicate meaningful conclusions from these analyses to influence business decisionsOwn and manage the content of large data sets, ensuring they are delivered to the right parts of the business at the right timesContribute to capability development through knowledge sharing, process improvement and tool development

A numerate degree such as physics, maths, data science, or engineering, or clear equivalent experience, with demonstrable interest in mathematical modelling of real-world scenariosExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferable experience in statistical life data analysis methods (e.g. System Reliability Analysis, Weibull & other parametric distributions, Monte Carlo Simulations)Experience in reliability engineering or life cycle costing is desirableKnowledge of civil aero-engine design and maintenance, and/or civil aircraft operating models, is desirableBold thinker - able to deal with ambiguity and novelty, comfortable working outside of your experience, and driven to deliver tangible benefits
