Test Operative

Salary: £31,500 per annum from 2026 (£26,500 while on days)
Location: Near Stadhampton (20-minute drive from Oxford, not accessible by public transport)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm
Interview Process: One-stage interview
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Future Shift Pattern: Moving to a 4-on, 4-off rotation in 2026

Conduct pressure testing of mechanical assemblies
Use handheld tools to complete build and test processes
Interpret technical assembly drawings accurately
Perform basic inspection of your own work to meet quality standards
Collaborate closely with a skilled team in a structured testing environmentWhat we’re looking for:
Experience in mechanical assembly and testing
Familiarity with engineering drawings and testing tools
Basic understanding of pressure testing and NDT methods (desirable)
Experience working with pyrotechnics (beneficial but not essential)
