Responsibilities
: Assist in the design of a new VoIP system, and upgrades to current TDM & IP infrastructure, to deliver the new service capability. To maintain and administer the legacy PBX platforms. Ensuring new services and systems meet UK security requirements. Managing obsolescence within the existing TDM system to ensure the system remains supportable and compliant to security requirements. Managing the installation and configuration of new system elements. Test and commissioning of new equipment and services. Providing third-line support to operations teams.
Experience required:
Excellent knowledge of TDM & VoIP network architectures. Degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering Discipline Cisco accreditation - CCNA, CCNP an advantage Working knowledge of multiple voice routing media, must include ISDN & SIP. Experience in the design and delivery of VoIP communication networks. Experience with hosted voice platforms.
