About the Technical Sales Engineer role
This role will be suited to Technical Sales Engineers who have had experience in selling bespoke tooling solutions to OEM manufacturers and sub-contractors manufacturing precision components for the aerospace, automotive, medical, and oil and gas industries. You will be responsible for:

  • The sale of cutting tools, work holding and equipment for CNC single spindle/multi-spindle automatic lathes and VMCs.
  • Providing consistent support to the existing customer base, as well as the systematic acquisition of new customers.

About you
To be successful for the role of Sales Engineer, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous, recent experience predominately in CNC turning and similar machining processes.
  • Experience in CAD/CAM and machine programming.
  • The ability to present the products to prospective clients with confidence.
  • Recent experience of CNC turning applications and familiarity with indexable insert tooling.
  • Selling bespoke tooling solutions to OEM manufacturers and sub-contractors.
  • Recent previous experience in the metal cutting industry.
  • Ability to communicate credibly with a wide range of people.
  • Motivated with a desire to sell in a competitive environment.
  • Competent IT Skills to include MS Office and CAD/CAM.
  • Good standard of general education.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel is essential for this role.
