Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for Technical Lead to add to their talented, hardworking team in Glasgow (Hybrid working or Fully remote) on an initial 12 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.

Rate:

£45.76 per hour inside IR35 / umbrella

The role:

  • This position holder will have proven technical capability and demonstrate exemplar behaviours as a role model within the team.
  • Fully conversant with all Detail Design processes and Design Management Systems (LCM or process) and can advise and guide team members through application of them.
  • Works as part of a team with a high degree of technical autonomy, within established procedures and practices and will demonstrate technical leadership as Detail Design representative embedded within the Programme, using influencing and negotiation skills where required.
    Skills:

    To succeed within this role, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

  • Applying technical leadership and expertise to provide advice and guidance to other professionals within project/team.
  • Using the programme delivery plan, work with the Team Lead using technical expertise to prioritise team activities, ensuring schedule and cost effective working is delivered alongside quality expectations.
  • Act as a project focal point for discipline specific tasks, championing continuous improvement, ensuring best practices are adopted, and ensuring overall compliance to the discipline strategy.
  • Deploying high expertise in engineering toolsets including CAD and information management tools to deliver complex design activities through to completion.
