Offering circa £55ph Inside IR35

Do you have Model Based Systems Engineering experience?

As the Systems Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

Requirements capture and definition from stakeholder needs through to sub-systems; ownership of traceability and verification
Verification, Validation, and Test (VV&T) support
Ground System level architectural design definition and trade-offs
Working with Engineering Leads and Partners to define the segment and associated sub-system architectures via integrated Working Groups
Technical proposal inputs
Solution Lead for customer and internal governance reviews
Technical support to bidding teams
Systems Engineering and project management inputs as required
Inform stakeholders on progress and problem resolution

Your skillset may include:

Degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related discipline
Experience in the design, integration, and roll out of end-to-end digital telecommunications systems
Experience of defining solutions within an Architectural Framework using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and appropriate tools (Enterprise Architecture)
Experience of engagement with customers and partners
Working understanding of portfolios in terms of satellite platforms and payloads, satellite control, mission control, network control
