Space Systems Engineer

Alexander Associates are working with a groundbreaking company who are developing advanced space technologies, including propulsion systems and space domain awareness tools, for in-orbit servicing and dual-use missions with projects ranging from early-stage studies to full system qualification.

Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the development and qualification of our propulsion products. You'll contribute across all stages of the project lifecycle, from requirements and design to testing and delivery, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and project managers.

What you’ll do as a Space Systems Engineer:

  • Define and manage system-level requirements

  • Perform trade-off and verification analyses

  • Support system design, integration, and qualification

  • Coordinate with teams and monitor technical progress

  • Ensure alignment with quality standards and customer expectations

    What we’re looking for in a Space Systems Engineer:

  • Experience with space systems and subsystems

  • Strong grasp of requirements management and project lifecycles

  • Familiarity with ECSS standards and AIT processes

  • Ability to manage technical work packages

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

    Nice to Have:

  • Background in product assurance, safety, and reliability

  • Knowledge of configuration and data management
