The ideal System Architect will have the following key skills and experience:
Provide innovative input for the development of systems infrastructure, proving these through the creation of demonstrations and proof of concepts. The establishment of best practice for systems infrastructure solution design, development, integration, deployment and management, including the use of relevant management tools. Ensure designs meet local requirements and are scaled to size and criticality of environment. Architecting a solution for Microsoft and Linux ICT systems deployment of Crowdstrike anti-virus software. Architecting an automated operating system patching solutions for Microsoft and Linux ICT systems - including options such as Microsoft SCCM, WSUS and RedhSatellite. Architecting backup solutions for Microsoft and Linux ICT systems including options such as Commvault, NAS and local removable media storage backups.The ideal System Administrator will have the following key skills and experience:
Install/upgrade Crowdstrike anti-virus software on Windows/Linux ICT systems in accordance with solution design. Configure and deploy OS updates for Windows/Linux in accordance with solution design - Experience with Microsoft SCCM and WSUS; and Redhat Satellite desirable. Document operational procedures/checklists for ICT system owners to ensure their antivirus software and operating system are regularly upgraded/patched in keeping with Enterprise services guidelines Install/Configure backup solutions in accordance with solution design. Experience with Commvault, NAS and local removable media storage backups desirable Liaise with Shared Services when in doubt to confirm approach conforms to company policies and proceduresThe latest news, articles, and resources, sent to your inbox weekly.
