Job description
Our client, a leading company in the aircraft landing and braking systems industry, is seeking a Supplier Performance Quality Leader in Special Processes to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the technical, logistical, and quality performance of a group of suppliers specializing in special processes tier 1 and tier 2, within heat treatments, surface treatment and CND. This is a permanent position within the Landing Gears Integration Department, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the safer and more sustainable aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities
Consolidate and manage supplier performance on a monthly basis, ensuring the consistency of measurements and sharing scorecards Communicate performance metrics to suppliers and internal teams. Implement and oversee the supplier escalation process Coordinate and lead a multidisciplinary team to execute actions for supplier performance improvement. Conduct audits to ensure supplier network ability and capacity to follow changes. Identify and mitigate risks associated with suppliers, establish recommendations for the development of the supplier network. Support production during supplier crises, establish catch-up plans, and lead steering committees to resolve the situation Manage the quotation of special process suppliers. Work in coordination with the Quality, Purchasing functions, and the network of machining suppliers.
Job Requirements:
Education: Engineering or related technical Degree/HND or equivalent with demonstrable industrial experience. Significant experience in special processes such as surface treatments and coatings, NDT, and heat treatments. Strong project management and production management skills. Ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams. Analytical mindset with problem-solving methodology. Experience with audit techniques and continuous improvement methodologies (Green Belt certification, 5P / Ishikawa / 8D / etc.). Curiosity about the technical environment. Pragmatic, objective, and able to work well within a team. Share
