Location: 
Derby or Bristolon a hybrid basis, with opportunities forNational and International Travel 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implementsupplier development strategiesto enhance performance and capabilities.
• Conductsupplier assessments, audits, and performance reviewsto ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and resolvesupplier quality and delivery issuesthrough collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Leadtraining and development initiativesto drive supplier improvement and accountability.
• Monitor and report onsupplier performance metrics, fostering continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support project objectives.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of5 years’ experiencein supplier development, quality assurance, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency inproject management methodologiesand tools such asSAP.
• Experience conductingsupplier audits, assessments, and developing improvement plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to enhancesupplier quality and delivery performance.
• Sole British citizenship and eligibility forsecurity clearance.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of quality management systems, such asISOandSix Sigma.
• Familiarity with process improvement techniques and supply chain optimisation.
• Experience insupplier developmentwithin aerospace or other complex engineering industries.
