Software Test Engineer

This company is seeking a talented Software Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their cutting-edge software solutions within the Satellite Communications Domain.

Responsibilities of the Software Test Engineer:

  1. Verifying and validating code quality for a new product, using an agile methodology, and supporting test documentation development.
  2. Working collaboratively with the team to design, implement, and test features for a new product development.
  3. Estimating tasks in accordance with sprint planning.
  4. Producing tests within an agile environment using GIT and Jira to manage the development.
  5. Performing Manual and Automated testing using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Java, and Postman (or similar technologies).
  6. Defining test cases and running test phases for a new product development in all phases of the development process.
  7. Interpreting Model Based System Engineering Diagrams and supporting Test Readiness Boards and Test Reviews.
  8. Completing test phases independently and within a team environment.

    The ideal candidate for the Software Test Engineer role will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proficient in Agile Development Process knowledge
  • Extensive experience in Test Automation using Java and Selenium
  • Expertise in Testing REST Architecture using Postman
  • Ability to self-motivate and work well within a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
