Anaplan is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer within our Experience Engineering workstream to join our growing team of global engineers at our vibrant tech hub in the UK. You will work alongside other talented engineers to build and ship award-winning planning technology, that is helping people and companies around the world every day to make better-informed plans and decisions.

Your Impact

Be part of a well-balanced, cross functional team, delivering exceptional software.


Working closely with product to deliver customer delighting experiences and platforms innovations.
Actively practice continuous integration and deployment and proactively contribute improvements to the way these are done.
Work within an agile development process and thrive in an environment that promotes high levels of autonomy and accountability.
Be driven by the customer, everything you do is to solve a problem for our users or to enable us to solve problems for users more effectively/sustainably.
Write tests at every level of the testing pyramid to ensure the quality of your work is good to go to production every time we build.
Liaise with product owners to set expectations and define acceptance criteria.
Apply your experience across the full stack as necessary. We recognise specialisms whilst valuing open-minded people who will step out of their comfort zone to complete their work and expand their skill set.
Good attention to detail - you will create applications which solve significant problems for our users, this drives you more so than anything.

Your Skills

Solid toolkit of design patterns and ability to choose the right ones to apply to each problem.


Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to craft well architected and easy-to-reason-about applications.
Good core understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
Familiarity with TypeScript and React.
Any experience writing backend micro-services utilising JVM technologies is a plus! (Java and Kotlin, Spring Boot).
An awareness of deployment tools/technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform would be advantageous.
Needs the capability to collaborate with others, influence their thinking, or secure their acceptance in delicate situations, all while maintaining the integrity of the relationship.
