Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for a Quality Management Systems Engineer to join our team based in Staverton to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.
What you'll be doing
You'll be working in a team of 5, providing guidance and technical support to colleagues on all quality standards to ensure compliance with AS9100, Part 21G and 145 regulations. You’ll identify and implement improvement activities as appropriate.
You'll host Customer, Regulatory and AS9100 audits in addition to performing internal and external compliance audits. You'll take the lead on SMS (Safety Management Systems) improvement activity through CAPA's enabling the resolution of internal technical problems.
What you'll already have
You’ll have experience of working in a quality position where you’ve been responsible for writing and maintaining procedures whilst complying to regulatory standards.
You’ll have had experience of conducting audits and working with ERP systems. We are very open regarding industry background as full training will be provided. As this incumbent will have ownership of the Safety Management System, we also welcome applications from individuals who have worked in a Health and Safety position where they have conducted audits and maintained systems.
