    Required skills:
  • Time served and experienced CNC Programmer competent in programming FANUC & Mazatrol control systems up to 5 Axis with specific experience of MAZAK machinery programming
  • Specifically, applicants should have a strong background in programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines
  • Ideal candidate will be unafraid of taking a lead role in our mills section
  • A working knowledge of CNC Mills robotic production
  • Experience using CMM facilities and other measuring equipment
  • The ability to work from engineering drawings is absolutely essential, as is knowledge of working to tolerances
  • Using Fusion 360 or One-CNC, CAD systems
  • Must have the ability to work using own initiative, and undertake first off inspections
  • Must be conscientious, hard-working and self-motivated with excellent standards, a positive attitude and a desire to learn
  • Must be quality standards aware
  • Be comfortable communicating with management regarding any issues whatsoever
  • Ensuring proper use of tools and programming techniques to produce high-precision components.
  • Conscious of our continuous improvement initiatives, whilst also identifying opportunities to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Assisting where required in skills development of apprentices

    You will be working with a small but experienced engineering team supplying machined components for many hundreds of different industries, from automotive, medical and marine to oil and gas, robotics, commercial, aerospace, defence, environmental, motorsports, life science, Formula 1, domestic and many more providing a varied and interesting workload. We are a key supplier into some of the UK’s leading medical, life science, aerospace, Formula 1 and technology companies
    Following 50 years in business and as holders of Tier 1 supplier status for many different supply chains, this is an opportunity to work alongside a great team whilst also further developing your skills.
    We offer a complete one stop shop service to customers, from prototype and design support through to CNC turning and milling, grinding, broaching, honing, ID marking, CMM reports, surface finishing and product certification, all under exemplary working and Health & Safety conditions.
