An industry leading manufacturer of advanced machines used in the aerospace, defence and advanced engineering sectors as a new opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join the team. You will be responsible for providing onsite technical support, maintenance and training to customers both in the UK and abroad. The successful candidate will have experience working in a maintenance of service engineer capacity and previous experience of installation, calibration, and maintenance of complex machinery.

The Role:

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.

Performing troubleshooting, installation, calibration, and maintenance of advanced engineering equipment.

Completing preventative maintenance tasks and providing training courses on-site and in-house.

Maintain and develop good relationships with customers.

Identifying and participate in sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract renewals and parts sales.

Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated.

The Person:

Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Experience working with advanced machinery and equipment.

Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or

electronic equipment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues in an easy to understand manner.

Strong time management skills.

Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
