Senior Workday Extend Integration Developer
Salary: £ - £/Day Inside IR35

Location: Windsor/London - Hybrid/Remote

The Role

We are working on behalf of a leading organisation seeking an experienced Workday Extend & Integration Specialist to take a hands-on role in the design, build, and delivery of bespoke Workday applications. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple business areas, applying modern integration techniques and enhancing enterprise systems through intelligent automation and secure, scalable design.

Responsibilities

Leading the technical development of custom Workday Extend solutions, including orchestration and integration with other enterprise tools. Designing and deploying at least four Workday Extend applications tailored to complex business requirements. Enhancing workflow automation through integration with Outlook APIs. Applying natural language processing (LLMs) to optimise communication and summarise interactions. Working closely with business and technical teams to translate needs into effective, secure technical solutions. Ensuring all outputs align with internal standards and security frameworks.

Requirements

In-depth experience with Workday Extend and strong grasp of Workday's data and security structures. Demonstrable background in creating scalable, high-performing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs. Ability to lead technical solutions from concept through to delivery, independently or as part of a team. Skilled communicator, comfortable translating technical ideas to non-technical audiences. Experience integrating Workday with external platforms (e.g., Outlook) and applying AI models to improve efficiency. Strong organisational skills with the confidence to handle competing priorities.
