Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Sub Contract Buyer to join their procurement and supply chain team in Luton on a 12-month contract.

This is a great opportunity in Luton, to work on exciting projects that contribute to national security, collaborating with a world-class team at the forefront of Electronic Warfare (EW) innovation.

As a Senior Sub Contract Buyer, you'll:

Lead Procurement Strategies: Deliver tailored solutions for tangible and intangible commitments across Development & EW Payloads.
Build Robust Contracts: Negotiate agreements that mitigate risk, promote lifecycle value, and foster strong supplier relationships.
Influence Key Decisions: Drive business outcomes throughout the Life Cycle Management (LCM) framework.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work cross-functionally to review customer contracts, flowdowns, and specifications.
Ensure Compliance: Manage export controls, third-party rights, and contractual obligations with precision.

Key Skills:

Solid understanding of contract management and negotiation skills
Strong understanding of LCM, Export Compliance, and commercial/legal contracting aspects.
Production planning experience
SAP/MRP experience
Knowledge of Sharepoint
Degree-level qualification or significant relevant experience (MCIPS preferred).
SC clearance
