To help us get to our future, we’re looking for forward thinkers, people with big ideas, people passionate about technology and most importantly hard working team players to join us and be a part of our growing business.Job purpose:The purpose of this role designs, plans, and installs all Security aspects that supports the CFL network communications systems. Involved in a wide range of issue including secure architecture, secure electronic data traffic, and networks. Ensures correct function of network security monitoring tools.Monitors anomalous security activity, reports and supports resolution.Leads For Network and acts as a matrixed Team member in IT Security Operations on a day to day operations of critical network security infrastructure. Represents the business at all TSA forums (internally and externally) as required.Develops and implements security tools, procedures and measures in the network security environment.Recognises and identifies potential threats to the network and systems connected to the network. Identifies and manages network security risks through to resolution.This role takes direction from Network and Systems Technical Architects and also leads on projects, proactively developing systems capabilities.What you’ll be doing:Leads For Network and acts as a Team member on the IT Security Operations on a day to day operations of critical network security infrastructure.Develops and implements security tools, procedures and measures in the network security environment.The Network Security Engineer is responsible for designing, testing and implementing full automation of building and maintaining ISP networks at scale.They have the responsibility of the design, integration, deployment, and performance evaluation of the full end to end Network (Core-Distribution-Aggregation-Access) following a continuous integration and development approach on all aspects.Analyse technical architecture of Network (Core- Distribution and access levels) to understand security dependencies, points of failure, impacts, to provide recommendations for Network and continuously improve security and resiliency across our infrastructure.Identify and manage network security risks through to resolution. Drives out root cause of issues to prevent recurrence.Keeps up to date with all latest industry risks mitigation and best practices.Maintaining knowledge of current and future information security threats and challenges.Adept and creative skills for solving complex technical network across multiple functions.In-depth troubleshooting, troubleshoot issues efficiently while effectively communicating escalations and outcomes.Network aptitude.
