Take charge of managing and optimising network infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency and stability Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline network operations and enhance efficiency Collaborate closely with the team to troubleshoot network issues, providing effective solutions Seamlessly integrate on-premises and cloud services, particularly Azure, to maintain a unified network environment Implement security measures and protocols to safeguard network integrity and protect against threats Continuously monitor network performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing enhancements for optimal operation Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and incidents, providing clear reports to stakeholders Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and practices, staying at the forefront of network technology Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, sharing expertise, and fostering a culture of knowledge exchange Mentor junior DevOps engineers, supporting their professional growth within the team A critical requirement, your Python skills should be robust and adaptable You should possess extensive experience with Linux, both on-premises and in the Azure cloud Your troubleshooting abilities should be top-notch, especially concerning Linux systems Familiarity with Azure cloud services is essential to excel in this role While not mandatory, expertise in Terraform is highly desirable Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) practices is advantageous A background in networking is beneficial for this role Familiarity with Jenkins can enhance your capabilities in this position Up to £80,000 basic salary per annum + discretionary bonus
