Job Description

What will you be doing?

We’re seeking aSenior Gas Turbine Engineerto work on projects involvingpropellers, rotors and gas turbines. Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Lead and optimizemanufacturing processes for gas turbines, ensuring efficiency and compliance with aerospace quality standards;

  • Develop and implement repair and maintenance strategies forrotors, propellers and associated aerospace systems;

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detaileddocumentationfor manufacturing workflows, repair protocols, and system enhancements specific to aerospace applications;

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies likeKanbanto streamline aerospace production and maintenance operations;

  • Ensure compliance withBPSS security clearance requirementsand aerospace industry regulations while working on classified projects;

  • Provide technical mentorship and leadership within the team, driving excellence inaerospace engineering solutions.


Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • 10+ years of experiencein manufacturing engineering, ideally in aerospace or a related field;
  • Proven expertise ingas turbinesystems, including repair processes and documentation for aerospace applications;

  • Familiarity withKanbanand other lean manufacturing tools;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus onprocess optimizationfor aerospace systems;

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline;

  • BPSS Clearanceeligibility is mandatory and you must hold the full right to work within the UK
