At Angi, we have one simple mission: Get all your home service jobs done well. That’s how we’ve helped over 150 million homeowners care for their homes over the last 25+ years. Today, our network has grown to over 200,000 skilled local pros — and our platform has made it easier than ever to find the right one for your project, from repairs to renovations and everything in between.

About the team:

In UX, we are building an innovative, new home service that spans the digital and physical worlds — from the details on a screen, to in-person, human-to-human interactions, and everything in between. Every member of the team is charged with redefining expectations around what’s possible in the home industry by creating simple, seamless solutions to complex, previously unsolved problems. Content Designers sit within the UX org as a centralized team, each embedded in domains and user experience areas to best contribute their unique expertise and perspective.

About the role:

We’re looking for a Senior Content Designer who will shape how content supports the user experience across our digital and real-world touchpoint, including web and app, notifications, and both internal and user-facing customer care communications. You’re not just a writer — you’re a systems thinker who understands how content impacts usability, navigation, conversion, and brand cohesion. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to define content frameworks, messaging hierarchies, and scalable systems that ensure clarity and consistency throughout the user journey.

Our Content Designers have a deep understanding of product writing and know that successful customer experiences are dependent on empathetic, usable, and action-driving language. They are involved in every phase of a project lifecycle, from early strategy and concepting, through customer research, detailed design, launch, and optimization. Our Content Designers are also stewards of our brand voice and understand that even the smallest word choice is important for building the foundation of our experiences.

Writing for Angi requires an intimate understanding of our diverse users — achieved through continuous research and testing — and close collaboration with many disciplines inside our organization. We value creative exploration, iteration, and attention to detail.

What you’ll do:

  • Write, design, test and iterate content in your part of the user journey.

  • Collaborate with your teams' product designers, product managers, researchers, analysts and engineers to deliver against our key outcome goals.

  • Develop content frameworks and systems that scale across multiple user journeys, flows, and service lines.

  • Define and maintain content standards, voice and tone guidelines, and governance models to ensure consistency across all user experiences.

  • Define, surface, and disclose AI and chatbot experiences that interact with our users. Contribute to the integration of AI tooling on our platforms, and craft conversation design that resonates with and help support our customers.

  • Audit and analyze content ecosystems to identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities to streamline and optimize.

  • Collaborate with research and data teams to define user journeys and content requirements that address real user needs and business goals.

  • Continuously evolve and mature the craft and its influence within the organization content as a design element and ensure it's considered at every step of the product development lifecycle.

  • Lead content workshops or working sessions to align stakeholders around voice, structure, and strategy.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a content designer; product organizations preferred. Ideally a combination of experience in content strategy, UX writing, and copywriting for digital experiences.

  • Experience working on a UX design team and/or within a product organization using agile methodologies.

  • Experience working with LLMs, developing and designing content for AI tooling, and working with machine learning teams preferred.

  • Experience with Figma or similar collaborative design tools.

  • Experience with Jira or similar product management software.

  • Driven, able to adapt and grow in a fast-paced environment.

  • A solid understanding of user-centric design, inclusivity, and accessibility best practices.

These are the benefits you'll enjoy:

  • Highly competitive salary package

  • Hybrid work environment

  • Hybrid allowance/benefit

  • Temporary work from abroad policy

  • Mental health support

  • Regular team and social events

  • Further benefits depending on location

  • Referral bonus

These are the values that guide everything we do:

  • We put integrity first. We are authentic, transparent and respectful.

  • We are all stewards. We are stewards of the company on behalf of all stakeholders.

  • We follow the evidence. We are objective, evidence-based and pragmatic in our decision-making.

  • We never stop learning. We are open-minded and curious.

  • We win together. We collaborate and earn trust with our colleagues.

  • We are inclusive. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive company.

Space Industry Recruitment Trends 2025 (UK): What Job Seekers Need To Know About Today’s Hiring Process

Summary: UK space‑sector hiring has shifted from pedigree‑first screening to capability‑driven evaluation across the full stack—spacecraft systems, payload/RF, flight software, GNC/ADCS, propulsion, structures/thermal, AIT (assembly–integration–test), mission/ground operations, reliability/radiation, and compliance (ECSS, export control). Employers want proof you can build, test, operate and scale space systems safely and economically. This guide explains what’s changed, what to expect in interviews & how to prepare—especially for satellite/spacecraft engineers, payload & RF/MM‑wave, flight & ground software, GNC/ADCS, power/thermal, AIT/test, mission ops, data/EO, and space product/TPM roles. Who this is for: Systems engineers, payload/RF engineers, flight software & FDIR, GNC/ADCS, power/thermal/structures, propulsion, AIT/test, reliability/radiation, QA/compliance, ground segment/cloud, mission operations, EO/data processing, and product/programme managers targeting roles in the UK space ecosystem.

Why Space Careers in the UK Are Becoming More Multidisciplinary

The UK’s space sector is growing fast — from satellite systems and Earth observation to satellite communications, space robotics, propulsion, space data analytics, and mission operations. But the nature of space work is changing. Projects involving satellites, launch systems, space robotics and ground infrastructure are now embedded in regulation, public perception, human interaction and cross-disciplinary design. Space careers in the UK used to be dominated by engineers, astrophysicists, systems analysts and telemetry experts. Today, they increasingly demand fluency not only in aerospace, software, electronics & data, but also in law, ethics, psychology, linguistics & design. After all, space systems operate under treaties, privacy constraints, public scrutiny, international collaborations and human interfaces. In this article, we explore why space careers in the UK are becoming more multidisciplinary, how those allied fields intersect with space work, and what job-seekers & employers must do to thrive in this evolving cosmos.

UK Space Team Structures Explained: Who Does What in a Modern Space Department

The UK space sector is rapidly expanding. With growth in satellite design, Earth observation, communications, launch systems, space science, downstream applications, and regulatory and operational services, there’s rising demand for skilled professionals across many disciplines. Building a high-impact space organisation requires well-defined team structures, clear roles, strong collaboration, and alignment across engineering, science, operations, regulation, and commercial functions. If you are applying for roles via UKSpaceJobs.co.uk or hiring into your company, this guide will help you understand the principal roles you’ll find in a space team, how they interact during mission lifecycles, what skills UK employers expect, salary norms, common challenges, and best practice for structuring space teams that succeed.
