We are looking for talented Senior Consultants to join either our Workforce Transformation and/or our People Experience teams as part of our UK Financial Servies People Consulting team.


Our Workforce Transformation team provides solutions across Future Performance, Future Workforce and Future Organisation Design


Our People Experience team provides solutions across Change management & communications, Culture & ways of working, Digital people experience and Future HR

Overview of the role


You’ll have the opportunity to work within a highly skilled, diverse, and passionate team to deliver transformative projects for our clients. You’ll have the opportunity to support development of innovative and insightful solutions, working for a range of clients across the Financial Services sector. As a Senior, you will be an integral member of the delivery team, supporting project leadership and management to ensure smooth day-to-day running of our projects and supporting in effective project management activities. You will actively contribute to go-to market opportunities and provide mentoring to our more junior team members.

Key Responsibilities applicable for both Workforce Transformation and People Experience

Contribute to day-to-day project delivery across transformation projects by bringing project management and consulting capability.


Take ownership for project management activities such as project status reports, risk assessments and reporting.
Support in managing client relationships. Support in developing reports, deliverables, and communication assets to ensure successful delivery of engagement.
Proactively raise risk and issues with management. Work with project team to develop mitigation plans and assess risk levels.
Contribute to go-to-market activities by supporting proposal development, supporting management and leadership in pitch preparation, and undertaking critical engagement management activities.
Support leadership in securing new engagement activity by identifying and communicating additional engagement opportunities across existing client engagements.
Develop an understanding of EY solution offerings across the firm and start building a personal network to bring the best of EY to our clients. Be comfortable in positioning the value that People Consulting can deliver alongside our other service line offerings

Skills and Attributes for success


Key capabilities you should be prepared to bring to client facing and internal initiative teams include:

For Workforce Transformation specifically.

Prior experience in Operating Model Development, Organisational Structure and Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, Capability Mapping, Organisational Assessment, and Organisational Governance, with success in current job applying one or more of these capabilities.


Experienced in contributing to organisation design development, bringing insights and design thinking to test and challenge solutions with wider project team. Experience working with management to refine and help in selecting the recommended organisational models to present to clients.
Foundational understanding of the opportunities and risks associated with acquisitions, divestures, mergers, and the organisational design implications is preferred, not critical.
Demonstrates good data analytical thinking and competency. Has experience in completing data analysis and current state assessment. Experience leveraging tools to expediate data collection, analysis and design is preferred, not critical.
Has good understanding of organisational effectiveness measures (such as spans of control, organisational layers, management ratios, grade structures) to assess maturity of organisational and operating model designs.
Demonstrates good business and commercial acumen.

For People Experience specifically

Experience supporting effective change management design and delivery. Awareness of successful change management interventions and experience in scoping client requirements


Experience in supporting change impact assessment development across key people, process, operational and technology change types. Experience using Change Impact Assessments to inform required change management interventions.
Experience in developing communications and communication assets such as key message banks, FAQ documentation, presentations, speeches, talk tracks etc.
A good understanding of effective stakeholder management and engagement interventions to build trust and rapport with client. Experience identifying key stakeholder mapping requirements.
A good understanding of culture and people experience interventions and how these impact productivity, engagement, retention and workforce performance
Good communication and reporting capability and ability to work with senior leadership

To qualify for the role, you must have:

Relevant experience through one of the following: Professional services role with a global management consultancy firm or niche consultancy, internal human resources or organisational design role in industry or related line role in industry, in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s) and/or change management / transformation role in which you had accountability to deliver change programmes Experience of delivering org. design and/or change/communications projects across the Financial Services Sector is preferred (incl. Banking and Capital Markets, Insurance, Wealth, and Asset Management, FinTechs )
