Senior CNC Engineer/Programmer, West Bromwich, £42-45k

Our client is a very well-known company in their field, supplying metal components to a wide variety of customers and industries including Aerospace, Oil and Gas. They are currently looking to upskill their Machine Shop by appointing an experienced Senior CNC Engineer/Programmer who can operate, set and programme machines. Experience of Siemens, Fanuc & Mazatrol would be beneficial.

You will be expected to apply your technical knowledge and expertise in the development and implementation of new and improved manufacturing processes, procedures and equipment. You must ensure that the design specification of equipment, tooling, fixtures etc. meet the companys requirements and objectives. You will be required to supervise a small team of Operatives, monitor their skills, support with training where necessary and ensure their focus is on supplying customer orders to the required Quality level and in time to the Production Plan. You'll be concerned with assisting the Operations Director to achieve an excellent service to all Machine Shop customers both internal and external as well as keeping up-to-date with the market and industry information.
