Whats the role?
The Senior BI Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing visualisations and reports, including KPI and performance dashboards across the CAVU organisation. This position involves designing new dashboard capabilities to support various units such as Retail, Reservations, Web & Travel Product Development, Hospitality, and Digital Marketing.
The Senior BI Engineer will work closely with the Data Team, Product Delivery, and other key business stakeholders, navigating the complexities of a rapidly changing business environment influenced by migrations, acquisitions, and diverse competencies.

About You:
Technical Proficiency: Expert understanding of SQL and data warehouses, including running complex queries and comprehending data structures. Power BI Expertise: Extensive experience with Power BI, managing large datasets, and utilizing its full capabilities. Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience engaging with stakeholders to establish needs, requirements, and determine data availability. Data Source Management: Experience working with diverse data sources such as CRM, retail, car parking, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and real-time telemetry data. Best Practices: Ability to implement best practices in visualisation production and stakeholder data analysis. Solution Design: Proficiency in designing secure, reliable, fault-tolerant, and efficient solutions. Requirement Translation: Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and work with the team to produce high-level technical solutions. Experience within Agile Software Development environments, including tools like Jira and Confluence.
