We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Chipping Campden this January. Whether you specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics — or enjoy teaching all three — this is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role
As part of a committed and supportive Science department, you’ll plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that spark curiosity and build confidence. You’ll play a key role in helping students understand the world around them through practical investigation, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons across KS3 & KS4
Inspire students to develop a love of Science and achieve their full potential
Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and curiosity
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and develop engaging curriculum materials
Contribute to the wider life of the school and act as a positive role model
About You
We’re looking for an educator who brings enthusiasm, structure, and creativity to every lesson.
You will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge across the sciences
Excellent classroom management and a calm, consistent approach
A passion for engaging learners of all abilities
Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
The flexibility and resilience to thrive in a busy school environment
