We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Science Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Redbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by helping young people re-engage with learning and develop confidence through creative, hands-on science education.

Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver engaging and differentiated science lessons to KS3-KS4 students

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals


  • Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment


  • Monitor and assess student achievement, providing regular feedback


  • Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment and pastoral initiatives


Qualifications and Experience



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent


  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3-KS4)


  • Understanding of SEND and SEMH needs within an educational context


  • Strong communication and classroom management skills


  • Ability to build positive relationships with students who may have disengaged from learning


  • Commitment to inclusive practice and holistic education


  • Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
