SCADA Commissioning Manager - Please note this is only open to full UK citizens living and working in the UK

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the company as a MEICA Commissioning Manager. You will be responsible for a team of installation Engineers to deliver and commission Turnkey Projects on time, within budget and to agreed specifications. Systems that fall under the scope of this role to be commissioned include Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA).

You will have a minimum of 5 years previous experience in a technical supervisory role with knowledge of control system solutions/ automation; including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, variable speed drives and instrumentation products being ideal.

Full-time position: (08:30-17:15 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:00 on Fridays)

  • Ability to organise and lead engineering delivery and commissioning of control system integration projects

  • Ability to organise and manage the procedural controls of the commissioning process

  • Ability to organise and manage multiple commissioning teams at the same time

  • Ability to manage and motivate a team of engineers to get the best out of the team

  • Ability to develop, train, implement, support and audit standard commissioning work practices

  • Ability to organise and manage installation and commissioning snag identification and rectification

    What we require from you:

  • Knowledge / background of engineering, control systems solutions / automation

  • Thorough understanding of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, variable speed drives and instrumentation products highly beneficial

  • Experience of Project Governance and commercial awareness

  • Experience of working to Health & Safety guidelines and processes

  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple commissioning teams at the same time

  • Strong experience of MSOffice packages, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint

  • Clean UK Driving License (Occasional travel to sites maybe required)
