Description

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Sales Solution Specialist with a proven track record in driving business growth through Microsoft Data and AI solutions. The successful candidate will focus on acquiring new customers (80%) while expanding opportunities within existing Nasstar accounts (20%).


This role requires a professional who can confidently engage C-suite stakeholders, collaborate with Microsoft sellers, and lead end-to-end solution sales motions that align with the Microsoft ecosystem


Key Responsibilities



  • New Business Development - Identify, engage, and close new logo opportunities across targeted industries using Microsoft Data and AI solutions.

  • Solution Sales Leadership - Lead consultative sales cycles focused on business transformation enabled by Microsoft technologies, including Azure Data, AI, and analytics platforms. 

  • Microsoft Partnership Collaboration - Build and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft account teams, Partner Development Managers, and solution specialists to Co-Sell and drive joint success. 

  • Account Growth - Work with Account Directors to identify and deliver cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing customers to expand Microsoft solution adoption. 

  • Go-to Market Execution - Work with marketing, pre-sales, and delivery teams to design and execute targeted go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and solution offerings.       

  • Customer Engagement - Deliver compelling solution presentations and demonstrations to business and technical audiences. 

  • Sales Excellence - Own the sales cycle from prospecting to closure, including qualification, solution shaping, commercial negotiation, and handover to delivery. 


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



  • 5+ years of experience in solution sales within the Microsoft ecosystem 
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft commercial and Co-Sell motions, including working directly with Microsoft sellers and partner teams. 
  • Demonstrated success selling Data and AI solutions (Azure Data Services, Azure Foundry, Purview, Fabric, OpenAI, Copilot, Power BI, Synapse, etc.). 
  • Proven ability to win new business, particularly with enterprise or larger SMC clients. 
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex business value propositions to both business and technical audiences. 
  • Strong team coordination and collaboration skills – able to work across technical, marketing, and delivery teams. 
  • Experience leading multi-stakeholder solution sales cycles from discovery to close 
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Expert, Data & AI Fundamentals) - Desirable 

  • Experience with Microsoft partner programs, incentives, and marketplace selling - Desirable

  • Familiarity with related technologies (AI Business Solutions, Dynamics 365, or M365 integrations). - Desirable 

  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and transformation. - Desirable

  • Ability to prioritize workload with excellent organizational skills.
