Our UK facility is the European Maintenance Centre Hub for the SHE Group, performing level 1 to level 3 maintenance and repairs on complex helicopter engine components. Our experienced teams partner with our broad, global customer base, providing both technical expertise and broader support in both the fixed wing and rotary wing markets.

What will I be doing?

  • Providing an on-site Safran HE technical interface with the UK MOD, in support of their RTM322 fleet of engines. To be a Safran HE ambassador in front of the UK MOD customer.

  • You will be required to travel regularly to Safran HE UK and /or Safran HE F for training, technical meetings, team/company events etc.

    What do you need from me?
  • Working knowledge of RTM322 engine operated by UK MOD.

  • Experience of presenting technical topics to technically diverse audiences.

  • Experience of working in a Military Aviation environment.

  • Deep helicopter engine technical experience, including knowledge of failure modes, design strategies, theory, maintenance strategies.

  • Experience of UK MOD maintenance policy, documentation and supporting operating systems (GOLDEsp etc.)

  • Experience of working in a technical customer facing role.

  • Self-organised and able to manage multiple ongoing queries / actions / enquiries

  • Good standard of written English (grammar, spelling, politeness)

  • Excellent standard of spoken English (telephone, meetings)

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Logical approach to problem solving

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Disciplined, with ability to work as individual and/or part of a team

  • Competent user of MS Office products
