This is an exceptional new opportunity for an RF IC Design Technical Manager to join a leading satellite communications company based in the Thames Valley, UK. In this role you will be responsible for approximately 80% management (both people and technical oversight) and 20% hands-on involvement in the design and architecture of RF blocks.


The successful RF IC Design Technical Manager will have a minimum of 10 years experience with proven technical management experience and a background in RF IC Design in CMOS up to 30GHz including some or all of the following; PA (power amplifiers), LNAs, Mixers Filters, Phase Shifter, DACs, bandgaps, LDOs and switches. A strong knowledge on IC design CAD tools such as Cadence Virtuoso (Spectre RF) and Keysight ADS and demonstrable experience with EM simulators (Momentum, EMX) is required as well as experience in the use of LAB RF measurement equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, VNAs) with the ability to troubleshoot measurement issues.


Excellent communication skills in English are required along with proven people management experience, strong problem solving skills and the ability to work well within a team.

You will ideally be required to be on site 4 days a week in Basingstoke.
