What You’ll Do

  • Lead & Inspire:Manage and mentor a team of talented engineers, creating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Drive Execution:Oversee multiple teams to ensure timely project completion while upholding Ansys’ high-quality standards.
  • Innovate & Improve:Guide teams in developing robust, scalable, and cutting-edge software solutions for materials data management.
  • Ensure Quality & Best Practices:Collaborate with development and testing managers to integrate best-in-class quality assurance processes.
  • Strategic Planning:Align team efforts with business goals, ensuring successful product development and seamless integration.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Leadership:Minimum3 years of management experienceleading high-performing software teams.
  • Technical Expertise:Strong background inC#, .NET, SQL, TypeScript, Python, C++, or similar technologies.
  • Industry Experience:ABS (12+ years), MS (10+ years), or PhD (8+ years)inEngineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Track Record of Success:Demonstrated ability to lead teams through the full software development lifecycle, from concept to release.
  • Strategic Thinking:Ability to translate business requirements into actionable development roadmaps.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep expertise inC#, SQL Server, TypeScript, Python, C++with hands-on leadership experience.
  • Experience deliveringlarge-scale commercial softwareandcloud-hosted enterprise applications.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • A passion for mentoring, driving cross-team success, and optimizing software performance at scale.
