Quality Systems Specialist - Defence & Digital Programmes
Location: Bristol (Hybrid - 2 days on site)
Contract: 6 Months (Inside IR35, via Umbrella)
Clearance: SC Cleared preferred
Hours: 37.5 per week

My client is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to support digital defence programmes within a leading aerospace environment. You'll be a key player in maintaining and improving quality assurance activities across multiple programmes, with a strong focus on compliance to ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO20000, ISO44001, AS9100D and AS9110C standards in the Digital space.

You will lead and support internal and external audits, manage nonconformance investigations through full Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes, and support programme bids and engineering reviews from a quality perspective. Additionally, you'll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support quality input for key customer and supplier meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quality assurance within aerospace, defence or IT/digital sectors, ideally with lead or internal auditing experience (AS9100 / ISO9001). An understanding of the engineering lifecycle and familiarity with MAA regulations and defence standards is desirable.

This role suits someone with strong stakeholder engagement skills, a structured approach to compliance, and a passion for maintaining robust quality systems within a technically complex, high-integrity environment.
