Key Responsibilities:

Manage the Manufacturing Quality team to achieve business performance and annual objectives, providing specialist expertise in the application and deployment of Quality tools.
Act as the Quality representative for operational tiered reviews and escalation reviews.
Establish and maintain quality assurance and control processes to ensure product standards are consistently achieved across suppliers and manufacturing operations, leading to Right First Time production and customer satisfaction.
Manage and control non-conforming material through the Material Review Board, Return to Vendor and in-house problem solving, reducing scrap and rework costs, improving FPY, and reducing customer complaints.
Build positive relationships with Airframe manufacturers, Airlines, and suppliers as the main point of contact for product Quality.
Lead quality aspects of Supplier selection and management, performance scorecard, and drive supplier quality improvement, maintaining supplier controls and driving corrective actions.
Develop the Quality team skills, bench strength, and successor pipeline.
Drive continual improvement activities to enhance quality, cost, delivery, and operational performance, actively promoting a Quality culture.
Develop and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing quality processes, methods, and practices aligned with the Business Management System.

Job Requirements:

Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, AS9145, and Part 21G. Approved auditor qualifications are an advantage.
Strong understanding of quality assurance and control tools and techniques, with experience in Lean manufacturing techniques.
Hands-on experience with 8D problem solving methodology and supporting tools and techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to influence at all levels.
Proven ability to lead, manage, and mentor a Quality team towards achieving organisational growth goals.
Strong customer focus and commercial acumen, organised and results-driven with a focus on meeting deadlines.
Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Highly diligent, enthusiastic, and driven, with an outstanding work ethic and a proactive approach.
Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands under pressure.
Highly adaptable and capable of making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
Experience with various manufacturing methods and techniques, including surface treatments, and the ability to verify in accordance with Engineering data and cosmetic standards.
