Due to continuous growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to join a well established Aerospace company in the Rotherham S60 area. Working as a Quality Manager reporting into the General Manager, responsibilities will include:

Identify quality issues with the manufacturing process while creating plans to reduce non conformances. Review scrap rates, quality costs and provide plans to improve performance, while also reviewing KPIs. Implement statistical process control techniques to monitor process performance and drive continuous improvement. Management of the quality team while conducting one-to-ones, appraisals and disciplinaries. Management of NCRs and root cause analysis utilising problem solving methods. Accountable for FAIRs, PPAP, FMEA's FPD and the point of contact for all customers relating to product quality.

The successful Quality Manager will have:

Hold an internal Auditor qualification ISO9001. A degree or equivalent in quality management. Knowledge and experience with quality and audits. Previously worked within in the aerospace industry. Have technical knowledge in manufacturing. Excellent IT skills. Strong literacy skills.

This role would suit a candidate who has worked as a Quality Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Quality lead or Inspection Manager within a manufacturing, engineering, machining, environment. The successful candidate will receive a generous benefits package including:
