As part of this exciting phase of growth, we’re seeking a skilled and proactive Quality Inspector to join their expanding team.

You’ll be joining a business that serves an impressive mix of sectors including defence, aerospace, rail, construction, and energy, with a strong reputation for precision, innovation, and customer focus.

Shift Options to Suit Your Lifestyle: 

Option 1: 4-Day Week – Alternating Days & Nights

Monday–Thursday
Days: 06:00–16:00
Nights: 20:00–06:00 (alternating weekly)
£16.00 per hour
Overtime at x1.25 | Sunday premium at x1.75
Annual salary equivalent: £31,200

Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 06:00–18:00
£18.00 per hour
Overtime at x1.25
Annual salary equivalent: £35,100
Perfect for those wanting to compress their hours into 3 days and free up the rest of the week! What You’ll Be Doing:
Inspecting precision-engineered components and fabrications to ensure top-tier quality standards.
Following inspection plans laid out by the Quality Manager.
Completing inspection reports using industry-standard equipment.
Performing internal calibrations and maintaining clear calibration records.
Collaborating closely with Quality Engineers and other departments to uphold best practices. What You’ll Need:
Experience in a quality or inspection role within a metal engineering or manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with inspection tools including:

FARO Arms (or equivalent)
CMM machines
Verniers, bevel boxes, tape measures, rules, etc.
A solid grasp of quality control processes and problem-solving techniques.
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset. What’s in It for You?
