Permanent | Full-Time | 37.5 hours per week
Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a background in electronics or PCB assembly? Join a forward-thinking electronics manufacturing business in Crawley that supplies high-reliability products to sectors such as medical, defence, and aerospace.
As a Quality Inspector, you’ll carry out detailed visual and mechanical inspections on PCB assemblies and finished products to IPC standards. You’ll work within a clean, modern facility, supporting a highly skilled production team to ensure that only products of the highest quality leave the premises.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Quality Inspector looking to make a meaningful impact in a technical environment where continuous improvement is valued and supported.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process and final inspections on PCB assemblies and finished units
  • Check assemblies against engineering drawings, BOMs, and IPC-A-610 standards
  • Identify and report non-conformances, raising NCRs and logging inspection data
  • Support First Article Inspections and assist with root cause investigations
  • Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to maintain high standards
  • Contribute to audit readiness and compliance with ISO quality systems
    Requirements:
  • Proven experience within an electronics manufacturing position
  • Understanding of IPC-A-610
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Confident using inspection tools and logging results accurately
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
