Quality Inspector
Are you a trained Quality Inspector, looking for your next challenge?
We are a family run business, established in 1987, and have a highly experienced, friendly team. We work in Aerospace, Automotive, and Power Generation industries, just to name a new. We are expanding our Quality Team to meet 2025 growth plans with existing and new customers.
We dont work with Agencies, so you will need to apply direct to us.
Working with the Senior, on a day-to-day basis you will check high quality machined parts using a mixture of vernier, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs. Once you have completed the quality checks on the parts, you will then package the parts for delivery to customers or suppliers.
You will need to have a good eye for detail, and be able to use your own initiative and experience to make sure our quality levels improve. We are looking for friendly, positive, and professional individuals who can help us grow.
Your other responsibilities will include:

• Inspection checks for FAI, First Off, Final Inspection.
  
• Read and understand machine drawings
  
• Set and run CMM programmes as per documentation
  
• Book orders in or out for delivery to customers & suppliers
  Experience / Qualifications
  
• Machine shop experience
  
• Understanding of engineering drawings
  
• CMM experience (either setting or programming)
  You will start with us on day shift whilst training then move to a double day shift – one week Earlies, one week Lates.
  In return for your hard work we offer:
  
• Competitive salary - £28,000 - £32,500, depending on experience.
  
• Shift premium – additional 10% for Earlies, 20% for Lates.
  
• 24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
