LocationUnited Kingdom Newcastle up Tyne Newcastle upon Tyne Remote vs. Office Office/Site only Company Siemens Energy Limited Organization Gas Services Business Unit Service Europe & Africa Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Not defined Job Title:Quality EngineerLocation:NewcastleA Snapshot of Your DayYou will be Responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of Marine QMS requirements.Additionally, you will assist the Marine Quality Team Lead in developing processes for the future of Marine Quality and ensuring readiness for the delivery of business needs now and in the future. You will also be responsible for: Managing delivery of Customer quality requirements. Managing non-conformance including investigations and RCAs. Supporting during external audits. Conducting internal audits.How You’ll Make an ImpactReviews Quality Documentation against applicable quality Acceptance Standards MITPs, Drawings, Specifications and Standards. Assist with the production of Marine QMS controlling documentation. Management of both product and process non-conformances ensuring events are recorded and actions processed through to conclusion. Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and manage closure of actions identified. Carry out internal Audits. Support in reviews of Process Flow, First Article Inspections, Production Risk Assessments, Supply Chain Maps Manufacturing Inspection and Test documents generated by others.  Produce Certificates of Conformance and other Customer specific documentation for the release of parts. Assists in the monitoring of and reporting of non-conformances and their associated costs.What You BringStrong understanding of process development and digitalization. Able to demonstrate ability to work methodically with high volume and accuracy. Self starter with the ability to work individually and as part of a team A minimum of 2 years Quality Management experience in Aerospace, Military, Automotive or similar industry. Minimum HNC or equivalent in an Engineering related subject. Proficient in the use Digital Technologies with a good understanding of IT and software.
