What you will enjoy doing
In this role you will plan and carry out key quality functions within the organization and be responsible for control and manage of all routine quality assurance tasks You will lead and influence quality improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and assist production within the resolution of non-conformances, providing timely investigation into the root cause and work closely with shop floor personnel to understand improvement opportunities Collaboration with site management team to continually improve projects, processes, and daily activities Further you will ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, further reporting of KPIs, data analysis to support investigations and monthly analysis is part of your role You will be conducting internal audits to customer and internal documentation, be able to verify and file the evidence of the reviews Development of quality standards and control system is required, as well as the development of corrective actions, monitoring progress for closure You will review of customer quality specifications and implementation within internal systems, manage records Ability to represent PST during customer visits and communicate clearly is necessary In addition you will be liaising with suppliers and external service providers You will provide training and support to shop floor personnel, coach, and mentor on quality subjects
What makes you great
You must have the right to work in UK and demonstrable experience working in Quality Experience working in ISO9001 or AS9100 environment is required for this role and you must be trained in internal audit Be able to understand and interpret technical drawings Strong communication and interpersonal skills suit your profile, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field Knowledge of Human factors and Nadcap experience is a plus You own project management skills and you are a lead auditor Experience in the Aerospace industry is desirable and experience of lean activities FMEA experience is a plus You have already gained statistical knowledge (working knowledge of Minitab)

Salary range: £38,000 - £45,000
