CNC Recruitment is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our prestigious client in Weymouth area - a well-respected engineering company.

Duties:

• Support, Implement and monitor all Quality Assurance systems to ensure compliance with AS9100 as well as all company, customer and regulatory requirement
• Support customer requirements including RCCA, business development initiatives and workshops.
• Act as a point of contact on all quality matters both internally and externally including suppliers.
• Support internal and external audit scheduling to maintain all accreditations across the business.
• Support company Table NCR/RCCA activities.
• Ability to review and decipher First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR’s).
• Support & Present during key customer business reviews.
• Encourage and implement standard processes and practice across group.
• To act as a change agent ensuring the of more robust quality controls and operating systems.

Requirements

• Wide knowledge of product and processes used in the manufacture of aerospace parts and assemblies.
• AS9100 lead audit trained preferred
• Knowledge of AS, ISO and NADCAP standards beneficial.
• HNC in relevant discipline or Professional Quality Engineering qualification
• Ability to read and decipher engineering drawings.
• Experience of using problem solving techniques.
