One day you could be liaising with one of the world's largest airframers, and the next, some of the biggest airline brands around the world!

In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.

The purpose of this role is to work closely with stakeholders across the SGB Purchasing team to lead the daily data management agenda e.g. creation/maintenance of Purchasing KPI's covering Quality, Cost and Delivery metrics.

Key Responsibilities will include:
- Engineering Change Request (ECR) management for purchased parts
- Creation/maintenance of Purchasing KPI's (including but not limited to:-
o Purchase Price Variance (PPV)
o Purchase Requisitions
o Invoice management
o Product sourcing
- Creation and development of processes alongside the PM&T specialist

Job Requirements

Read and understand engineering drawings
Willingness and ability to work across all areas of operations
Team Management / Leadership skills
Knowledge of Purchasing activity within a Manufacturing environment
Ideally some knowledge of activity in an Engineering environment
