Location: Stonehouse

Pay: £32,000 - £38,000

Contract Type: Perm

We are currently seeking a Pump Engineer to join a well-established team in the wastewater industry. With over 10 years of experience, our client provides wastewater solutions to domestic, commercial, and industrial customers, offering services including servicing, repairs, commissioning, and much more.

In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining sewage treatment plants and pump systems, ensuring the smooth operation of ongoing service contracts. Your expertise in both mechanical and electrical elements of wastewater systems will be essential, as will your ability to perform fault finding, planned maintenance, and heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities – Pump Engineer  

Service, attend callouts, and troubleshoot issues with Sewage Treatment Plants, Sewage Pumps, and Wastewater systems.
Work with both electrical and mechanical components of the systems.
Liaise with the scheduling team and/or line manager to report issues and keep customers updated on progress.
Provide feedback on parts used or additional work to be quoted, in line with company procedures.
Keep van stock up to date with necessary parts and tools.
Provide on-the-job training as directed by your line manager.
Communicate with customers on-site during jobs.
Use a mobile app to track your daily schedule and tasks.
Complete detailed reports following each site visit.

Qualifications & Requirements – Pump Engineer

Qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering.
17th, 18th, or 19th edition electrical qualifications (preferred but not essential).
CSCS card (desirable but not essential).
Full UK driving license.
Experience working in confined spaces (desirable but not essential)
