    We are looking for a dynamic Engineering Test Team Lead to join a Propulsion Test Engineering team with an excellent reputation within the industry. You will play a key role in shaping the future of propulsion / emissions testing services.

    Propulsion Test Engineering Team Lead Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Engineers and Technicians, ensuring delivery of high-quality propulsion testing services.

  • Ensure full compliance across all facilities with key ISO standards, including ISO 17025.

  • Drive operational excellence across test processes, procedures, and standards.

  • Support commercial proposal development—ensuring technical content meets customer requirements.

  • Work on internal R&D projects in collaboration with wider teams.

  • Contribute to future growth by identifying opportunities for facility investment and service development.

    Your background as a Propulsion Test Engineering Team Lead:

  • Previous engineering leadership ideally within an automotive / vehicle testing, R&D, or similar environment.

  • Specific experience of automotive propulsion / emissions testing / emissions legislation would be advantageous.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with customers, suppliers, and multi-disciplinary teams.

  • A commercial mindset with the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.

  • Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills—able to manage multiple projects effectively.
