At Sony Europe, our Service team is at the forefront of delivering exceptional support services for our B2B business which spans across high-end Media solutions, as well as Imaging & Sensing and Healthcare. We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Sales Support Specialist to join our team and help drive our Service Value Platform to new heights.
You Will:
In this cross-functional role, you will provide specialized project delivery support across multiple Business Groups both in Europe and worldwide. You will manage various project-related activities, including order placement, procurement, invoicing, financial reporting, and delivery tasks. Your efforts will ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction, all while adhering to complex contracted terms and company compliance policies.
In Detail:
Project Support: Enable Sony Europe Project Managers to deliver projects on time and within budget by providing essential support services.
Order Management: Create and maintain complex solution sales orders, ensuring delivery schedules are met and any changes are promptly communicated.
Financial Reporting: Update project financial statuses, provide sales forecasts, and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
Customer Invoicing: Prepare invoices, track payments, and address any issues in collaboration with project managers and financial controllers.
Procurement Coordination: Manage procurement and expediting of materials and services using SAP, ensuring timely goods receipt.
Inventory Control: Oversee inventory movements for ongoing projects and surplus stock, including returns within SAP.
Logistics Support: Provide logistics administrative support in collaboration with our logistics platform ensuring customer-specific and international customs and tax requirements are met.
Process Improvement: Contribute to process documentation updates, risk management, and lessons learned initiatives.
SAP Systems: Conduct systems testing for regression and new processes.
You’ll Bring:
Experience in international complex order management and delivery, with awareness of logistics, customs, and / or tax procedures. Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills, along with upper intermediate-level proficiency in MS Excel. Familiarity with purchasing and order scheduling for complex requirements; SAP experience is desirable. Team Spirit: A collaborative team player who fosters a positive and efficient work environment. A-level education or equivalent relevant experience; strong numeracy skills (GCSE Maths grade C or above).
