Project Manager (Exclusive) Portadown, Northern Ireland £50k - £65k Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading aerospace company based in Portadown, Northern Ireland to assist them with the appointment of a Project Manager. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with key aerospace components. This role is primarily onsite, necessitating significant stakeholder engagement and close collaboration with their engineering, production, and quality teams. Key Responsibilities as a Project Manager; Oversee and manage multiple projects in the aerospace manufacturing sector, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget constraints. Maintain close communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, suppliers, and customers. Offer technical leadership in manufacturing engineering processes, ensuring production adheres to quality, efficiency, and compliance standards. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring successful project outcomes. Provide regular updates on project progress, including status reports, risk analysis, and financial tracking. Lead continuous improvement efforts within project teams to boost efficiency, quality, and overall performance. What you will need to succeed as a Project Manager; Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager with a solid background in manufacturing engineering, preferably within the aerospace industry, with a focus on aerostructures and metallic components. Proven ability to oversee complex projects, consistently delivering results on time and within budget. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset for tackling challenges.
